What is Stamped Concrete?

Stamped Concrete is concrete with colored added and stamped with a rubber like tool to produce a surface similar to natural stone, brick, slate and other natural materials. The main color is created through integral color pigments in the concrete mix. A powdered color release agent is used in the stamping process and ensures maximum surface detail while providing a second color for surface highlights and a distinctive grout line. In the end, a sealer is applied to help the concrete’s curing process and to heighten the full effect, full color, depth and richness with maximum concrete protection. |
